TITLE: Office Manager

TYPE: One-Month Contract - August

PAY: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

LOCATION: Irvine, California - 100% Onsite

INDUSTRY: E-Commerce and Consumer Health & Wellness

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are working with a global e-commerce health and wellness organization seeking an experienced Office Manager for immediate temporary coverage at its Irvine corporate office.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This highly visible role manages day-to-day office operations and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for executives, senior leaders, candidates, vendors, and visitors. The Office Manager will keep the workplace organized, well supplied, operationally ready, and prepared for important meetings and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage reception and front-desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and coordinating mail and deliveries.
  • Coordinate office calendars, meetings, appointments, rooms, catering, supplies, technology support, and related logistics.
  • Maintain office equipment, digital displays, supplies, pantry inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Support the Chief of Staff with board meetings, leadership meetings, executive staff meetings, town halls, and other functions.
  • Serve as the central contact for facilities maintenance, repairs, janitorial services, and workplace readiness.
  • Communicate clearly with employees, executives, suppliers, candidates, and other external visitors.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable, safe, and welcoming office environment.
  • Provide additional administrative and operational support as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ten or more years of relevant office management, workplace operations, executive support, or closely related experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, adaptability, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work onsite in Irvine throughout the August assignment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
  • Experience supporting executives, board meetings, corporate events, or high-visibility office operations
