Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Sourcing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in sourcing information technology systems and software. This role will also require the flexibility to manage sourcing activities across other Indirect categories as needed. The IT Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality and cost-effective IT solutions for the Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions business worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT systems and software, to drive cost savings and optimize supplier performance, while meeting business needs
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and service providers, monitoring risk and contractual obligation and ensuring alignment with business objectives and contractual obligations
  • Lead the end-to-end IT sourcing process, including identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, conducting RFPโ€™s and RFQโ€™s, negotiating pricing and contracts, and finalizing agreements to provide the best overall value to the business
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, human resources, finance, legal, and other departments, to understand their requirements, provide strategic guidance and support and ensure alignment
  • Utilize market trends, industry developments, data and analytics to analyze supplier performance, track cost savings, and make data-driven decisions
  • Manage sourcing activities across other non-IT categories as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sourcing and procurement, with a proven track record of successful contract negotiations and vendor management
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and software, including MS Teams, SAP, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Self-sufficient, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual โ€“ Spanish and English is a plus.
