  • Marketing & Customer Relations
  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Efficiently coordinate and schedule appointments for Sales Department.
  • Provide follow up on open and working proposals to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing, managing, and implementing local marketing initiatives.
  • Support and participate in home shows and events (paid weekends may be optional).
  • Maintain a clean, organized and inviting office and work space environment.
  • Financials
  • Update and record incoming billing and expenses through Quickbooks (experience preferred, training provided).
  • Generate job costing reports for completed projects.
  • Track, prepare, and manage timely payment of business-related expenses.
  • Production
  • Attend and participate in weekly sales meeting for reviewing customer projects and manage production orders.
  • Confirm and accurately order necessary products for upcoming projects and schedule delivery.
  • Communicate and schedule start dates between customers and installers for efficient job scheduling.
  • Update customers regarding installation details and job progress.
  • Update software apps daily with job status and upcoming schedules (training provided).
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings as scheduled.
  • Work with team towards weekly and monthly goal achievements.
  • Be open to attending training / seminars at the owner's discretion.
  • Make decisions and act in alignment with Floor Coverings International's core values and mission.

Office Manager Qualifications:

  • Applicant would need strong in person, phone and text communication skills.
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in general bookkeeping with use of QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
  • Capable of making good business decisions and work independently without constant oversight.
