AR / Collections Specialist & Office Administrator

Surfside Laundry – Panama City Beach, FL

Surfside Laundry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented AR / Collections Specialist & Office Administrator to join our team at our Panama City Beach facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounts receivable and collections experience who also enjoys keeping an office organized, supporting daily administrative needs, and assisting with HR-related tasks.

The most important part of this position is account collections experience. We are looking for someone who is comfortable following up on outstanding accounts, communicating professionally with customers, and helping maintain accurate financial records.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & Collections
  • Manage accounts receivable activity and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and payment status
  • Maintain accurate records of collection efforts, payments, and account updates
  • Research and resolve billing questions or payment discrepancies
  • Work with management to identify collection priorities and account concerns
  • Prepare reports related to AR, aging accounts, and collections activity as needed
  • Communicate professionally and consistently with customers while maintaining strong business relationships
Office Administration
  • Help keep the office organized and running efficiently
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with general office communication
  • Maintain files, records, and office documentation
  • Assist with ordering supplies and coordinating basic office needs
  • Support management with administrative projects and reporting as assigned
Human Resources Administrative Support
  • Assist HR with administrative duties as assigned
  • Help maintain employee files and documentation
  • Support onboarding paperwork, recordkeeping, and general HR coordination
