Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, as well as experience with various tools and equipment used in the field. A commitment to customer service and safety is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
  • Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively, following all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Utilize power tools, hand tools, and machinery as needed for pest control tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about pest control options and preventive measures.
  • Drive to various job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and best practices in pest control.

Skills

  • Knowledge of pest control techniques and products is essential, but we do offer training as well.
  • Familiarity with landscape maintenance, lawn care practices, and farm operations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Sales skills are advantageous for promoting additional services to clients.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
