Job description

Cometeer Coffee Sales Representative

Burned. Bitter. Overpriced. The old coffee ritual is broken and Cometeer is here to melt it down.

What is Cometeer? We're not just offering better coffee. We're leading a movement. Barista-quality brews from the world's top roasters like Counter Culture, George Howell, Onyx, Equator, Klatch, Birch, are flash-frozen at peak flavor and delivered straight to your door in recyclable aluminum capsules. Just melt and sip. No machines. No bitterness. No compromises. It's premium coffee, reimagined for speed, simplicity, and serious taste.

Backed by General Catalyst and James Freeman (Founder of Blue Bottle), Cometeer has grown from 5 to 13 mall kiosks in just six months, with 20+ more on the way. We're scaling fast and we're looking for the next wave of talent to grow with us.

Here's why it's a game changer:

  • No machine needed: just melt with hot water or pour over ice
  • Delivers 180mg of caffeine per capsule: more than a typical cup of coffee
  • Tastes better than what most people buy at Starbucks or Dunkin'
  • Takes seconds to make: no lines, no commute, no compromises
  • Each cup costs less than what they're already paying
  • Zero prep, zero waste: just melt and enjoy
  • Recyclable capsules: convenient and sustainable
What You'll Do as a Coffee Sales Representative

You won't just be selling coffee, you'll be part of a movement. We believe most people have been settling for mediocre coffee for far too long. Your mission: change that, one cup and one conversation at a time.

  • Be the face of the revolution. You'll greet mall-goers with energy and purpose, introducing them to a product that can change their daily routine for the better.
  • Let the coffee speak for itself. Every sample you hand out is proof that better coffee is possible, without baristas, machines, or compromise.
  • Inspire a switch. Through honest, engaging conversations, help people break free from overpriced, underwhelming habits.
  • Build your own momentum. Every sale you make is tracked, recognized, and rewarded, so your effort directly shapes your success. Whether you're working toward bonuses, building leadership skills, or just feeding your competitive spirit, you'll be supported every step of the way.

This is more than a kiosk job, it's a chance to introduce the future of coffee to the public, one meaningful interaction at a time.

What We're Looking For
  • Passion for coffee, sales, or food culture
  • Experience in direct sales or marketing, hospitality, or customer service
  • Natural people skills: engaging, conversational, and trustworthy
  • High energy and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Dependable, motivated, and excited to be part of something growing

What to Expect From the Hiring Process

Cometeer is growing rapidly, and we're hiring with urgency to meet that demand. We value attention to detail and the ability to follow directions is essential for success in our fast-moving environment.

Here's how it works:

  • Apply Submit your application online. If selected, you'll receive an email with instructions to schedule your Pitch Screening over Google Meet. This email will include a short version of our pitch to help you prepare.
  • Initial Pitch Screening (Virtual) Meet with a recruiter over Google Meet. This step confirms your interest, alignment, and gives you a chance to practice a short pitch using the script we provide.
  • Second Pitch Screening (Virtual) Meet with a Regional Sales Manager and deliver a refined pitch. This step focuses on how well you communicate, connect, and adjust based on feedback.
  • Final Pitch (In-Person) Join us for a 30-minute interview at a Cometeer kiosk. You'll meet the Sales Manager you'd be training with and experience the product and team environment firsthand.

We're aiming to make hiring decisions within 3 to 7 days of receiving strong applications.

  • Starts as a Part-Time role at Los Cerritos Center
  • Open availability strongly preferred
