ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire an experienced Accounting Clerk II to work on a temporary assignment in Santa Fe, NM.

  • Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
  • Assignment Duration: Approximately August 17, 2026 – January 31, 2027
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Business Hours)
  • Location: In- office located in Santa Fe, NM

This is a temporary, full-time assignment supporting a high-volume project focused on application processing, financial tracking, and program administration.

The selected candidate will work onsite under the supervision of a Project Manager and play an essential role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of program activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry, analysis, and validation of program information.
  • Monitor and manage program email inboxes, responding to inquiries and routing correspondence as appropriate.
  • Process applications and verify completeness and accuracy of submitted documentation.
  • Reconcile payments and financial records to ensure accurate accounting.
  • Track project activities and maintain detailed records.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the PFAS Protection Act Program.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
  • Experience performing accounting, bookkeeping, financial reconciliation, or administrative support functions.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets, perform data analysis, use formulas and functions, and reconcile financial information.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze data, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
