Job description

Position: OTR Tire Technician
Location: Trainer, PA
Pay Range: $23–$28/hr (Experienced CDL Tandem Boom Truck Operators may qualify for higher starting pay based on experience. Sign-on bonus potential available for qualified candidates with previous OTR tire experience.)

We're seeking a skilled and dependable OTR Tire Technician to join our team. This full-time role focuses on servicing and maintaining off-the-road (OTR) commercial tires. The position may involve operating a Mini Boom Truck or a CDL Tandem Boom Truck, and a valid CDL is required. We provide training for qualified candidates to earn their TIA and ERS certifications.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
  • Experience operating a Mini Boom Truck or CDL Tandem Boom Truck preferred
  • Experience working with small, large, and industrial OTR tires
  • TIA and ERS certifications are a plus (training provided)
  • Clean MVR and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • No DWI convictions in the last 4 years
  • No more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last 3 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with tire tools, lifts, hoists, jacking equipment, and diagnostic equipment

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and roadside OTR tire service
  • Safely operate a Mini Boom Truck or CDL Tandem Boom Truck
  • Identify and obtain necessary parts and tools for repairs
  • Respond to service calls promptly and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Participate in on-call service, including occasional nights and weekends
  • Maintain a professional, safety-first attitude at all times
