Position Overview:

We are looking for a high-energy, data-obsessed leader to own and accelerate our digital presence in the annuity and wealth management ecosystem. The ideal candidate for Director of Digital Marketing will have extensive, hands-on experience building high-performing lead gen programs with a clear focus on driving engagement, conversions, and pipeline growth. If you are a creative thinker with technical expertise using modern digital tools and platforms across SEO, AEO, paid search and social, digital ads, and analytics, we want to hear from you.

What you will own:

  • Oversee the digital marketing ecosystem, including DPL websites (Webflow), Marketing Cloud, SalesLoft, Salesforce integrations, AI, social and search channels, and ad platforms.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on SEO, AEO, content marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Own multi-channel lead generation and conversion.
  • Analyze campaign data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SQL queries.
  • Use actionable insights to drive informed budgeting, allocation, and campaign decisions.
  • Allocate and manage marketing spend across platforms and campaigns to ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Prepare and present reports to executive leadership.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships.
  • Monitor industry trends to stay ahead of digital marketing innovations and incorporate best practices into strategies.

What we are looking for

Required

  • 7+ years experience in B2B digital marketing and lead gen roles
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and consensus building skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing demands requiring high velocity execution
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Proven experience as a digital marketing program leader with strong examples of successful campaigns across multiple channels
  • Deep understanding of conversion optimization techniques and performance marketing strategies
  • Expertise in SEO tools (Ahrefs), GA4, Google AdWords, Meta, LinkedIn Advertising, Content Management Systems (Webflow), HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills (preferred)
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, SalesLoft, Salesforce and automation tools
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to deliver actionable insights for ongoing testing and improvement of digital strategy and campaign performance

Preferred

  • Annuity/insurance industry marketing experience is a major plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (i.e., Claude) to increase workflow and content creation/distribution efficiency
  • Knowledge of Asana and Microsoft Office Suite
