Overview

i3 is seeking an AMD Mission Command Program Integrator to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, Air and Missile Defense Mission Command Product Office (AMD MC PdO) to assist and coordinate Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control System software product requirements. The requirements focus on the Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) system portfolio to include the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) and Patriot, as well as integration of Sensor and Weapon Platforms such as Sentinel, Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS), and Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC).

This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Responsibilities
  • Support AMD MC PdO leadership on all business, financial, contract, and program management activities associated with software capability.
  • Coordinatie with PMO contracts, budget, acquisition and engineering teams for development of independent cost estimates, acquisition strategies and technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with industry OEM counterpartsโ€™ contracts, program management, and engineering, teams to track and manage overall delivery of software capability.
  • Assist the AMD MC PdO with the planning and execution of current and future year budget, manage and update the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) in Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT).
  • Update spend plans and manage associated contract actions.
  • Support development of written and verbal products that clearly articulate on-going activities to internal/external organizations.
  • Develop weekly Situation Reports, Command and Staff charts, responses to internal and external taskers and updates to the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Codify user requirements & capability needs.
  • Plan and execute current and future year budget, manage spend plans, and associated contract actions.
  • Provide periodic reviews with appropriate representatives to determine status of overall project and major milestones.
  • Ensure coordination of orderly phasing of all actions and cost, schedule, and performance risk.
  • Identify alternative risk mitigation approaches, and ascertain appropriate action required to maintain or improve project schedules.
  • Coordinate IPTs, Meetings and Working Groups, develop briefings, agendas, minutes and action items.
  • Represent the AMD MD PdO leadership in situations where the government leader is not available.
  • Coordinate domestic and foreign disclosure staffing requests for IFMC Mission Command Product Office related products planned for delivery or presentation to leadership and customers.
  • Ensure products are properly marked according to PMO information security standards.
  • Develop and maintain historical archives to ensure activities, briefings and decisions are available for reference and to maintain the PMO/PdO leadership institutional knowledge.
Qualifications
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant discipline or significant applicable experience.
  • 10+ years of applicable experience associated withbusiness, financial, contract, and software management activities.
  • A strong understanding of and experience withAIAMD systems.
  • Good communications skills, people skills, and enthusiasm are essential, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment.
  • The ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations to staff contractors and government officials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to travel when required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

The candidate would be highly desirable if they have:

  • Previous Army acquisition product and/or program management experience.
  • Previous experience with the Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, Sentinel, LTAMDS, and Indirect Fire Protection Capability.
  • Previous experience managing contractual deliverables.
  • Previous experience with Atlassian software management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
