Automation Maintenance Specialist โ€” CNC Mills and Welding RobotsCan you pinpoint a failing sensor before it stops a line? Do you enjoy bringing a stubborn CNC HMC back to spec and then documenting exactly how you did it? Are you motivated by improving OEE through smart fixes and teamwork?Your impactOwn corrective, preventive, and daily maintenance for robotic welding cells, CNC HMC machines, SPMs, assembly machines, press assembly, compressors, and facility equipmentโ€”with minimal supervision.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, resolve faults rapidly, and keep production moving.Perform repairs and full or partial rebuilds as scheduled; capture accurate notes, parts used, and follow-up actions.Participate actively in continuous improvement to elevate equipment reliability and overall plant OEE; partner effectively across teams.What you need to succeedHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience diagnosing and fixing CNC HMC mills (Makino / Moriseiki), welding robots, press assembly systems, compressors, and general facility equipment.Completion of industrial maintenance mechanical/hydraulic coursework or equivalent practical experience.Working knowledge of sensors, PLC logic, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, and complex machinery.Ability to coach, train, lead, direct, instruct, and discipline employees when required.Strong awareness of MIOSHA and applicable government safety requirements; models safe behavior.Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to document work and share information.Excellent communication, organization, time management, and a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.Working conditionsStand for long periods on the shop floor.Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Work flexible hours and be available for 1st or 2nd shift coverage.Why this role?Youโ€™ll be the go-to problem solver on highly automated equipmentโ€”keeping complex CNC and welding systems running at their best while building a culture of reliability and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
