Business Implementation Consultant - Odoo ERP

Dallas, North America • Phenom Cloud

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant with ODOO ERP expertise to lead and support ERP implementations across Sales, Inventory, CRM, Finance, HR, Projects, Manufacturing, and Procurement. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience configuring Odoo modules, mapping business processes, and delivering end‑to‑end ERP solutions that enhance operational efficiency and enable digital transformation.

This role requires strong functional expertise across Odoo’s ecosystem, the ability to translate complex business requirements into system configurations, and the capability to work closely with clients, technical developers, and project teams. You will guide organizations in optimizing workflows, improving system adoption, and maximizing the value of their Odoo investment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery workshops to understand client business requirements across departments (Finance, Sales, SCM, HR, Manufacturing, Projects, etc.).
  • Document current‑state processes and design optimized future‑state workflows using Odoo capabilities.
  • Advise clients on ERP best practices, governance, and operational improvements.
  • Configure Odoo modules CRM, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing, Projects, eCommerce, and Website.
  • Define master data models, chart of accounts, workflows, access control, roles, and approvals.
  • Support customization requirements by collaborating with developers on technical specifications and enhancements.
  • Manage functional workstreams throughout implementation, including configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Create UAT scenarios, support validation cycles, and assist clients with issue resolution.
  • Work with technical teams on integrations (API/EAI), data migration planning, and system performance checks.
