Job description

EDIT: we got some help with building our shed on 5/17 - thank you for the amazing outreach and support!
We're leaving this posting up because we kind of always have random odd jobs around Tuli, and would love to create a pool of people who might be interested in a gig here or there.
In classic scrappy start-up fashion, gigs take a lot of diff shapes day-by-day, but they could look like:
  • Hanging posters on signposts (eg cap hill postering)
  • Assembling a shed (Ikea-style)
  • Deep cleaning
  • Hauling shit from one place to another (not literal - just lots of misc heavy things lol)
  • Tabling at events to represent Tuli

If you are interested, we will actually be kicking off the process to hire sauna hosts for Lake Union Piers at some point week of May 18th, so if you are interested in a bigger role with us, please definitely apply to that posting! Just a heads up that we won't consider your candidacy for the host role unless you apply for that role directly, this application is just for the gigs!
The comp structure for gigs will vary by job, but generally we will offer two style options:
  • Option 1 (1099 contractor): $24/hour, but with a min comp per job
    • For example, for the shed build project, we offered a min of $250, and expected the job to take 8-10 hours, but if it took longer, comp would be $24/hour
  • Option 2 (trade): some amount of Tuli credits or unlimited membership, typically at a higher dollar value than the cash comp
    • For example, we offered for the shed build an unlimited membership for the full summer ($450+ value), vs the $250 base cash comp

We treat this application like you are entering a pool and will send a blast if we have any gigs we need help with, so please don't expect a reply or to engage in any interview process. It's pretty ad-hoc and availability based!
Appreciate your interest in helping us out here and there!!
