Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Commitment Desk / Pricing & Capital Markets Operations is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Vice President, responsible for overseeing and leading end-to-end pricing and commitment desk operations across multiple business channels. This role combines strategic leadership with operational ownership, ensuring the accurate execution of locks, pricing, and eligibility decisions while driving scalability, efficiency, and pricing integrity.
Serving as a critical partner to senior leadership, this individual is accountable for translating capital markets strategy into execution, leading a team of managers and analysts, and advancing transformation initiatives that enhance performance, risk management, and profitability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities
    Lead daily Commitment Desk operations, ensuring timely and accurate lock and pricing execution
    Manage and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team, including direct oversight of managers and team leads
    Establish team structure, capacity planning, and performance management frameworks to meet volume and SLA targets, including hiring, coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement
    Drive accountability through defined KPIs, quality standards, and operational governance routines
    Serve as escalation point for complex pricing, eligibility, and loan-level decisions
    Oversee production validation, lock accuracy, and pipeline prioritization
    Partner cross-functionally with Capital Markets, Sales, Operations, and Underwriting to align priorities and resolve issues
    Own and drive process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability
    Provide leadership visibility through reporting, metrics, and executive-level communication on performance and risks
    Support client onboarding, bid tape execution, and pricing platform optimization
Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree preferred
    7+ years of experience in Capital Markets, Commitment Desk, or Pricing Operations
    3+ years of proven leadership experience managing teams in a high-volume environment
    Strong knowledge of mortgage banking and pricing execution
    Experience with pricing tools (e.g., Compass Analytics) preferred
    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

The salary range for this position is expected to be 125,000 -140,000 per year, depending on, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.
