Ochsner Health System is recruiting a BC/BE UROLOGIST to practice at OCHSNER MEDICAL CENTER - BAPTIST, in New Orleans, LA. Newly trained or experienced physicians are welcome to apply. Salary offered will be commensurate with experience and training.

The mission of Ochsner's Department of Urology is to provide the most comprehensive urologic care possible, emphasizing the needs of the individual patient in a compassionate setting. Our 44 physicians provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care at our clinics in - New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Prairieville, Raceland, St Bernard, Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, Mississippi Gulf Coast, Mandeville/Covington, Houma and Lake Charles, LA. offering the complete spectrum of general and subspecialty urologic care including adult general and pediatric urology, andrology, pelvic floor, oncology. Available technologies include DaVinci Xi robots, the latest in laser and other minimally invasive therapies, robotic HIFU and the latest innovations in incontinence and pelvic floor therapies.
The department also utilizes highly sophisticated technologies such as robotic assisted surgery, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and laser therapies. Comprehensive and specialized urologic medical and surgical care is provided in the areas of adult and general urology, pediatric urology, female pelvic medicine, and urological oncology, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, testicular cancer, and surgical and non-surgical treatment of kidney stones.
Ochsner Baptist - A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center is fully accredited and staffed by more than 600 trusted, skilled physicians and specialists - many practicing at Ochsner Baptist for decades. Featuring all private, inpatient rooms, an intensive care unit, a state-of-the-art operating room and two cardiac catheterization labs, the hospital is located in the heart of New Orleans.
In addition, there is an on-site state-of-the-art imaging center and laser vision center distinguished by our quality care, excellence in specialty care and high patient satisfaction scores.
Our 24-hour, full-service emergency department at Ochsner Baptist means most patients will be seen by a doctor in 30-minutes or less. The 6,000 square foot emergency room is staffed by a team of board-certified ER physicians, offers two trauma rooms and 12 patient rooms, and is equipped with specialized geriatric amenities for seniors.
