Job description

This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness Division, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department, Naval Air Station JRB Fort Worth, Texas. Incumbent serves as a Supervisory Recreation Specialist responsible for the supervision, coordination, and economical operation of one pool. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all aquatics programs and activities operate efficiently and safely according to rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.Qualifications:

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities, as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience. All non-government positions identified on your resume must include complete address and to and from dates. Specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Qualifying experience must have been equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression.

Education:Knowledge gained through the successful completion of a baccalaureate program with a major study appropriate to the field of aquatics recreation OR at least three years of experience that shows a demonstrated knowledge of the techniques, principles, and methods utilized in the operation of a pool and/or ocean-front (beach) area aquatics operation. Incumbent must have had at least three years of experience at the Lead Lifeguard or Lifeguard Captain Level.Employment Type: OTHER
