Job description

We are looking for Brand Ambassadors to support the Ocean Bottle brand and share the story of this lifestyle water bottle.

Ocean Bottle is a London based company with a focus on creating environmental and social impact. Their core mission is to stop plastic from reaching the ocean. Every water bottle they sell funds the equivalent removal of 1,000 ocean-bound plastic bottles, in weight.

As a Brand Ambassador of Ocean Bottle, you'd be the story teller for the brand. You would train REI store associates on the brand's mission and vision, convey the brand's environmental and social impact, and support merchandising.Brand Representative Responsibilities:
  • Educate REI store associates about the Ocean Bottle brand's values, while also sharing product knowledge, features and benefits
  • Build strong relationships with retail staff
  • Ensure product placement, displays, and signage are on point.
  • Capture photos, observations, and feedback during visits and then submit detailed reports via our mobile app
  • Conduct light inventory checks and competitive insights

Position Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in education/training store associate
  • Friendly, engaging, with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in retail environment
  • Tech-savvy with smartphones and reporting tools
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smartphone required (iOS 17+ or Android 13+)


Job Compensation & Perks

  • Paid $25 per store training visit (plus travel incentives)
  • Dedicated stores to service in your area - stores are generally visited once a quarter, for one hour
  • Flexibility to be able to schedule visits, preferred early in the day to participate in pre store opening huddle
