Occupational Therapist

Pueblo, Colorado

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to patients to improve functional independence in daily living activities
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel or contract therapy experience
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
