Ainsi, le gestionnaire rรฉgional de la sรฉcuritรฉ travaillera en รฉtroite collaboration avec tous les niveaux de personnel rรฉgional et de contrรดleurs rรฉgionaux afin d'amรฉliorer ou de maintenir tous les aspects de la performance en matiรจre de sรฉcuritรฉ et santรฉ au travail, de rรฉduire les expositions, les blessures, les risques et les coรปts, et d'identifier et maximiser les occasions d'affaires pour l'entreprise.

Job Summary:ย This position reports to the Environmental Health and Safety Controller and Regional Safety Manager Lead. The position directs, monitors, and assists with wide range of analytical, technical, process, procedural, claims management and administrative functions related to safety, and regulatory compliance.ย  This position is responsible for provision of general guidance, direction, advice, and requirements in all areas of occupational safety & health for specialized expertise in designated industry specific, program, and technical areas of safety & health. Incumbent will perform field safety audits of client premises, conduct risk assessments, complete analysis, measurement, and reports as directed, do post-accident investigations, coach and educate all levels of management and employees, complete all required actions & activities of client and company safety programs, and take all appropriate action to ensure compliance with all provincial, and internal rules, regulations and standards.

ย ย  Under direction of the Environmental Health and Safety Controller, the Regional Safety Manager is the regional expert and resource in occupational safety & health. As such, the Regional Safety Manager will work closely with all levels of regional staffs and regional controllers to improve or maintain all areas of occupational safety & health performance, to reduce exposures, injuries, risks, and costs, and to identify and maximize business opportunities for the company.

  • Communicate Safety related information to all levels of Region
  • Perform client site visits, audits
  • Conduct accident investigations
  • Analyze loss information and identify trends/solutions
  • Provide training in variety of settings

Supervisory or Management Responsibilities:

  • N/A

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:

  • Educational experience in the area of occupational safety or a closely related field
  • Work experience in safety, occupational health and/or risk management is helpful
  • Willingness to complete prescribed and continuing classes, coursework, or other education and/or certification is required
  • Bi-lingual (French/English)

Per Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus potentialย
