Job description

Eden Senior Care, founded in 2016, is a growing Healthcare Management company, focused on managing and operating Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation and Assisted Living communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Alabama. Position: PRN Occupational Therapist (OT)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
  • To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
  • To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
  • Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
  • Guide and educate family members and caregivers
  • Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid license to practice occupational therapy.
  • BS degree or greater in occupational therapy.
