Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Chanute, Kansas.

Obstetric Registered Nurse (OB RN)

Position Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Obstetric Registered Nurse (OB RN) to join our team on the night shift. This position offers a stable schedule of 36 hours per week over an 8-week period.

Shift Details
  • Shift Timing: 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Certification Requirements
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
Responsibilities

The OB RN will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting in the delivery room and receiving babies during childbirth.
  • Providing care and support to mothers and newborns.
  • Monitoring fetal heart rates and responding to any concerns.
  • Caring for patients in the MedSurg unit during low census periods.
Qualifications
  • Must have documented delivery room experience.
  • Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience is required.
Additional Information

This position does not require on-call duties but will follow a routine scheduled shift similar to other departments. Registered nurses in this role should be prepared to cover holiday schedules as needed.
