Role: Observability Engineer
Location: Waltham, MA (Onsite only)
Duration: 12+ Months
Experience required: 8 years
Note: This is essentially an Observability / SRE / DevOps Engineer role with a strong focus on OpenTelemetry + Grafana LGTM + Kubernetes + Azure + IaC.
Please look for below mentioned skills:
· Build observability for logs, metrics and traces
· Work with OpenTelemetry
· Implement/manage Grafana, Loki, Tempo and Mimir
· Deploy the observability platform on Kubernetes
· Work with Azure AKS and ideally VMware Kubernetes / VKS
· Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
· Support Azure Landing Zone
· Write Python, Bash and YAML
· Participate in production go-live, troubleshooting and stabilization
· Work in a DevOps/SRE environment
Scope of Services:
· Design and implement an Open Telemetry driven observability solution using LGTM stack (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir)
· Deploy and manage services on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and VMWare Kubernetes Services (VKS)
· Support Azure Landing Zone configuration aligned to governance models
· Deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
· Implement automation using Ansible
· Create and validate YAML configurations
· Support platform go-live activities including validation, remediation, and stabilisation
· Collaborate with multi-region engineering teams.
