Job Title: Adjunct Instructor of Oboe
Rank: Adjunct Instructor
Part time position for an Oboe instructor beginning August, 2025. Primary duties include teaching weekly Oboe lessons to both majors and non-majors, as well as coaching ensemble(s) or teaching reed making, as needed. There are opportunities on campus for recitals and other public performances. Every other Spring semester (the next being Spring 2026), there is also the possibility of teaching the Oboe portion of our Woodwind Methods sequence for Music Education majors.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent professional teaching experience strongly preferred. Candidate must demonstrate evidence of successful teaching and the ability to be a congenial colleague.
Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining students is highly desired.
Start Date: August 20, 2025
