Job Description:

Project Engineer will work school hours, excluding holidays and school closures.

At the direction of the Customer's senior leadership, Project Engineer will work in conjunction with the customer to offer guidance and assist with the establishment of standards and guidelines for the implementation of clients technology solutions regarding the Customer's overall clients hardware and software direction.

Project Engineer's daily functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following items, related to clients technologies deployed within the customer environment:

Making visits to district sites to troubleshoot issues, facilitate engineering escalations, and follow-up against the customer's extended agreement (if in place) as necessary.

Participating in regularly scheduled customer meetings and conference calls to review issues, provide status updates on current initiatives, and outstanding escalations.

Assisting in the deployment of clients hardware, Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server, Apple iOS at district sites.

Assisting in the troubleshooting of networks and connections utilized by clients hardware.

Assisting in the troubleshooting of non-client peripherals and software integrated with client hardware.

Assessing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi environments with a focus on the integration of client devices into customer infrastructure.

Coaching and Mentoring of district personnel on Apple OS X and iOS deployment strategies and best practices.

Work with district personnel to document customer processes/workflows.

The ideal candidate will not only have client deployment and MDM experience, but also have experience in Education.
