Job description

Responsibilities:
o Provides clinical obstetrical and gynecological services and associated administrative and on-call services to Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology patients.
o Provides consistent, high quality, evidence-based care.
o Supports office staff in development and performance of efficient office practices.
o Liaisons with practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice.
o Liaisons with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.
o Fosters a cohesive Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology group identity.
o Complies with all regulatory requirements applicable to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
o Provides patient management that aligns Thompson Obstetrics and Gynecology goals with overall health system goals.
o Always puts the needs of the patient first.
Assists the health system in meeting strategic goals.
Hours:
24-hour call shifts 4-5 times a month, in office 3-4 times a week. This position can be located in Canandaigua OR Geneva.
Education:
o Graduation from an accredited Medical School Required (M.D. or D.O.)
o Completion of Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Required.
o Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Coding Preferred
o Maintains CME per requirements for Board Certification
o Current BLS certification
o NRP Certification Required
Qualifications:
  • BC/BE in OB/GYN
  • Must possess an unrestricted New York State License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New York
  • DEA Licensure Required

Pay Range: $280-380k based on experience; salary is a 2-year guarantee and then moves to a productivity model.
