Position Overview

Salary Range: The compensation for this role is between $280,000 and $408,000. The minimum salary is established based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This role includes membership in a program that may provide opportunities for additional earnings.

Position Description

Our organization is seeking applications for a faculty role in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track) at the Assistant Professor level or higher, depending on qualifications. This position is part of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is committed to delivering outstanding clinical and surgical care to a diverse patient base. The division offers comprehensive Women's Reproductive Health Care, including low-risk obstetrics, outpatient gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgeries, while also supervising residents and medical students at the only academic medical institution in Orange County, California.

Key responsibilities include providing a full range of obstetrical and gynecological services within the faculty practice, managing GYN inpatient care, and dedicating time to supervise resident continuity clinics at our Federally Qualified Health Centers. The role also encompasses mentoring and teaching trainees at various levels, engaging in scholarly activities, and maintaining a private patient practice. Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree, hold a California medical license and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate by the start date, and be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
