As an LCSW at Oasis of Serenity, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities that are pivotal in addressing mental health challenges. Your primary tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for new patients to identify their unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Providing individual psychotherapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other interventions based on the clients’ preferences and requirements.
• Maintaining clear and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that patient confidentiality and data integrity are upheld.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, to create a coordinated care plan tailored to each patient, enhancing their overall well-being.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to maintain high standards of care and improve service delivery.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health, treatment options available, and community resources that can aid in their recovery process.
• Staying informed on current research, trends, and developments within the mental health field to continually enhance your clinical skills and the quality of care provided.

Your role involves engaging with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families, who require comprehensive emotional and psychological support. You will be addressing a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from depression and anxiety to grief and existential concerns, making your work critical in offering solace and resilience during challenging times.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
• At least three years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services within a mental health or hospice setting.
• Proficiency in employing solution-focused and evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients and team members alike.
• Exceptionally developed problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.

• Experience working with terminally ill patients and their families, providing counseling and emotional support during end-of-life care.
• Familiarity with community resources and eligibility for various supportive programs, enhancing the care offered to patients.
• Background in conducting clinical research or contributions to peer-reviewed journals in mental health.
