Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom OSS Domain Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of OSS systems including order management, inventory management, provisioning and activation, assurance, ticketing, field management, fault management (FM), and performance management (PM). The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of telecom networks and expertise in OSS applications, and domain architecture with a strong focus on 5G, cloud-native technologies, and AI-driven operations. He/she will have strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive the evolution of these network facing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design:
  • Define and develop end-to-end architecture for OSS/BSS/EMS platforms that support critical network management functions, including service provisioning, fault management, performance monitoring and inventory management.
  • Design scalable, modular, and future-proof OSS solutions, integrating cloud-native principles, microservices, and APIs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, network teams, and IT architects to align OSS strategies with business goals.

Technology & Integration:
  • Lead OSS transformation initiatives, enabling AI/ML-driven autonomous networks, closed-loop automation, intent based architecture.
  • Ensure seamless integration with BSS (Business Support Systems), SDN/NFV platforms, and multi-vendor/multi-domain network elements
  • Ensure the integration of fault management (FM) and performance management (PM) systems into unified monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Drive adoption of open standards and frameworks (TM Forum, ETSI MANO, 3GPP, ONAP, etc.)

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with product teams, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure robust implementation of designs

Quality Assurance and operations
  • Oversee the testing and validation of system performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Define KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks to measure and improve operational efficiency

Innovation & Trends
  • Stay abreast of advancements in OSS/BSS technologies, cloud-native trends, and telecom industry standards
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Telecom OSS architecture and solution design.
  • Expertise in OSS domains such as Provisioning, Activation, Inventory, Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security Management (FCAPS).
  • Hands-on experience with OSS platforms from major vendors (e.g., Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, Netcracker, Huawei)
  • Strong knowledge of 5G, SDN/NFV, cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, microservices), and AI/ML-based network automation
  • Proficiency in TM Forum frameworks, ETSI MANO, ONAP, and service orchestration.
  • Experience with modern data architectures, including big data analytics, event-driven architectures, and observability platforms
  • Familiarity with network protocols (SNMP, NetConf/YANG, gRPC, Kafka, REST APIs)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams and large-scale projects

Qualifications
