Job description

OEM Cable Assembly Salesperson with technical wire-harness sales experience, able to target electronics markets, and closing custom manufacturing contracts.

 

Job Title and Summary

  • Job Title: OEM Cable Assembly Salesperson
  • Summary: Find new clients, sell custom wire harnesses, and build long-term accounts with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Type: Full-time

 

Key Duties

  • Sell custom cable assemblies and wire harnesses to OEM engineers and buyers.
  • Find new leads in industries in telecommunication, medical, aerospace, and automotive.
  • Read technical drawings and wire diagrams to help clients.
  • Work with production teams to set product pricing and delivery dates.
  • Meet and beat monthly and yearly sales goals.

 

Required Skills

  • Two or more years of B2B sales experience in electronic components or manufacturing.
  • Know how to read cable assembly schematics and cable specs.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and tech projects at once.
