Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.
In this role, the successful candidate This is a program for medical or graduate students. The research trainee will participate directly in research and research-related activities such as conferences and seminars. In addition, they will be introduced to the principles of human subjects' research in Otolaryngology and its subspecialties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordination of research and quality improvement activities
• Enrollment of participants 
• Onboarding research team members
• Database management and data entry
• Coordination with research team and statistician on data analysis
• Communicating and meeting weekly with principal investigator to review research progress and navigate challenges
• Preparing abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts for presentation 

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a One year of medical school.The student intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the Summer months (Mid-May through Mid-Sept), must be planning to return to full-time status in the Fall.
Functions performed must be NBU (nonbargaining unit) work.
Functions performed must be researchrelated work.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
