Why join Major Tool & Machine?

If you're passionate about CNC programming, process optimization, and advanced manufacturing, this is an opportunity to work at one of North America's premier large-scale machining facilities.

Major Tool & Machine (MTM) has been solving some of the world's toughest manufacturing challenges since 1946. Today, the company supports customers in the space, defense, nuclear, energy, and commercial industries, producing large, complex, mission-critical components using some of the most advanced CNC equipment in the industry.

As a CAD/CAM Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing efficient machining strategies for large multi-axis CNC machines. Working with Siemens NX and Vericut, you'll create and optimize programs for 3-axis, 5-axis, mill-turn, and multi-axis lathe applications while collaborating closely with tooling engineers, machinists, and manufacturing teams to continually improve productivity and machining performance.

If you enjoy solving difficult machining challenges instead of simply posting code, this role offers outstanding technical variety, career growth, and the opportunity to work with world-class equipment on projects that truly matter.

⚙️ What you'll be doing

  • Create CNC programs using Siemens NX2506 for complex multi-axis machining applications
