We're seeking an individual with exceptional technical expertise in executive aircraft seating and interior products. In this role, you'll be responsible for modifying and upgrading features, capabilities and in-flight entertainment systems of executive aviation passenger seats to offer world class seating products for our customers. This is your opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the advancement of aviation interiors. This is an onsite position in Medley, Florida.

What You Will Do:
  • Serve as the electrical lead on aircraft seating programs from kickoff through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and aligned with customer and internal requirements.
  • Develop, integrate, and validate electrical systems including seat actuation, lighting, comfort, and In-Flight Entertainment systems.
  • Create and maintain System block diagrams, Pin-to-pin wiring diagrams, Harness drawings, 3D electrical routing models and 2D electrical installation drawings
  • Supporting technical documentation in accordance with internal and aerospace standards and processes
  • Lead design and peer reviews and present technical solutions during customer milestone reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into complex seat assemblies.
  • Support certification activities for OEM and regulatory compliance, including Airbus, Boeing, FAA, and EASA requirements, as well as applicable environmental and safety standards.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and external suppliers on component selection, design reviews, qualification, and production readiness.
  • Participate in prototype and production seat builds, continuous improvement initiatives, design reviews, and product lifecycle support activities.
  • Support testing and troubleshooting at the component, subassembly, and full-seat levels to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Investigate production and field issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. Person required - Job requires access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware (directly or indirectly) and the company will not seek an export authorization for this role.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing projects of varying complexity to meet cost and schedule objectives.
  • Experience leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional engineering groups to achieve program objectives.
  • Experience with electrical system integration, validation testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with digital engineering tools such as Teamcenter 14, Siemens NX, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and vendor component datasheets.
  • Experience creating technical documentation including block diagrams, cable/harness drawings, parts lists, and installation drawings.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related test equipment.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Advanced experience in aircraft seating electrical system design, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead seating program electrical systems engineering efforts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Boeing D283W604 and familiar with D6-36440 specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Airbus X2521PTSI09010 and familiar with X2520 M1F 0012 00 and X2521PTSF11001 specifications.
  • Proficiency with Siemens NX (Unigraphics) Electrical Application/Cable Routing modules.
  • Familiarity with FAA/EASA certification processes and aerospace standards such as DO-160, DO-178, and ARP5526.
  • Experience collaborating across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Sales teams.
  • Experience in harness manufacturing, including soldering and crimping techniques
  • Experience mentoring early-career engineers.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively across both high-level system concepts and detailed technical execution.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
