Now hiring Part-Time Bus Driver to join our team at Munster Med-Inn!

We are seeking a dependable Medical Transportation Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments and treatments operating a medical transportation vehicle. The following is a summary and list of requirements for the position:

SUMMARY: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver will transport eligible patients to and from medical appointments and treatments within NWI area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform assigned transports daily in a safe and timely manner.
  • Verify all transports and services rendered via electronic transportation portal.
  • Complete a daily inspection of assigned vehicle before start of the day.
  • Driver must be courteous, caring, patient, and professional at all times.
  • The driver must be flexible working varying hours.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee will regularly lift and/or push more than 100 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies and protocols, operating and maintenance instructions, and standard operation procedure manuals.
  • Must have a valid Indiana driver's license and clean driving record within the past year. If you are retired and looking for an extra income, that is a HUGE PLUS!

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of related driving experience
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements.
