Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 1:30 pm (Part-Time)
Job Summary: Under the guidance of the Head Cook, the Nutritional Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties involved in the preparation, set-up and operation of food/serving lines to provide healthy, wholesome and meals to students in accordance with local, state and federal food production and sanitation standards, guidelines and requirements. Bakery/Pasta/Lunchbox Support person - Proven ability to create strategic menus, menu items, and production protocols to meet client needs.
Qualifications: A High School diploma or GED is required. Experience in a Production Kitchen is preferred.
Compensation: This is a Grade 4 position with an hourly rate from $16.55 to $21.13 depending upon qualifications as outlined in the Nutritional Services Collective Bargaining Agreement plus a part-time benefits package that starts on day one of employment.
