Job description

Employment Type:Part timeShift:Evening ShiftDescription:

Responsible for working on the nutrition services tray line, assembling, retrieving, and cleaning patient trays. Deliver trays to the patients and assist them with their orders as needed. May also assist in other areas of the kitchen, such as the dish room, or restocking food and beverages, etc.


This is a per diem position; hours are 4:00 - 8:30 pm with rotating weekends.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Prior customer-service and food handling experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent customer-service skills and ability to be patient, respectful and compassionate to patients.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge related to hospital diets.
  • Comfortable cleaning trays, assisting in the dish room.
  • Previous healthcare or nutrition experience preferred.
  • Able to perform well in high functioning kitchen.
