(CNA | PCA | HHA | SHT | Aide)

Monday-Friday | 10-Hour Shifts | No Nights or Weekends

At Aveanna Healthcare's Pediatric Day Healthcare Center (PPEC) in Metairie, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care to medically fragile infants and toddlers in a safe, engaging, and supportive setting.
If you have experience caring for young children and a heart for pediatrics - this is more than a job. It's purpose-driven work.
What You'll Do
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will:
  • Provide direct care to infants & toddlers following individualized care plans
  • Assist with feeding (oral & tube), bathing, dressing, toileting & diaper changes
  • Monitor and record vital measurements (weight, height, head circumference, etc.)
  • Support mobility, positioning, transfers & range of motion exercises
  • Prepare formula & assist with daily nutrition needs
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment through play & developmental activities
  • Maintain cleanliness (toys, linens, dishes, light laundry)
  • Accurately document patient care and report changes to nursing staff
Schedule You'll Love
• Monday-Friday
• 10-hour daytime shifts
No nights, no weekends, no major holidays
• Friday availability required
✅ What You'll Need
  • 1 year of experience caring for infants or toddlers (Required)
  • CPR Certification (or obtain during orientation)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Employment references supporting pediatric experience
  • Ability to pass skills competency check
