  • Job Description
    1. Follow the Client's Service Plan. Duties include but are not limited to, bathing (bed, tub, and/or sponge) shower; toiletry, grooming,
    shaving, dental care, dressing, and eating - proper nutrition, home management, light housekeeping, ambulation, and transfer,
    taking vital signs, and arranging and accompanying the client to the doctor, picking up prescriptions, documentation of client's food
    and liquid intake and output, medication reminders, changing diapers, emptying Foley catheter, basic first aid and CPR, range of
    motion, in-home emergencies, infection control, maintaining Client's confidentiality, and providing watchful oversight of the Client.
    2. Observe and report on any needs, changes in the Client's condition, or any other problems that may affect the Client to
    Supervisor.
    3. Document all changes or problems on the Task Sheet.
    4. Demonstrate competency in meal preparation and clean-up, homemaking and laundry, Mobility and walking assistance
    Kitchen and bathroom maintenance
    5. Toileting and personal hygiene assistance
    6. Medication reminders
    7. Routine transfer assistance
    8. Bathing and showering assistance
    9. Transportation and errand running services

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver in a home environment with at least two (2) verifiable references


Education/Training:

Specialized Training is required for all personal care.
