As a Feed Mill Production Operator on the 2nd shift, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality bulk livestock feed in a modern, well-equipped facility. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency of the feed production process to ensure timely loading and shipment of products.
- Operate batching systems to accurately measure and mix both bulk and bagged ingredients according to established specifications.
- Add ingredients using hand adds and micro feeders for precise formulation of bagged products.
- Assemble, prepare, and verify goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Complete receiving paperwork and maintain accurate production and inventory records.
- Conduct quality assurance testing on products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Organize and maintain storage of materials and product inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate machinery such as forklifts to load orders and move materials or finished products as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep of warehouse equipment and machinery.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain physically active for extended periods.
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts starting at 1:30 pm with a floating end time, Monday through Friday.
- Basic math and computer skills for accurate record-keeping and operation of automated systems.
- Experience with forklifts, tractors, or front-end loaders is a plus, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Compensation
Starting wage of $21.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential after training.
