Job description

The Nutrition Assistant is responsible for data entry in electronic medical records, communicating with dietitians and nursing regarding patient nutritional status, taking and preparing patient and guest meal orders, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring meal accuracy. Additionally, they handle cleaning duties such as picking up soiled dishes and doing dishes, stocking pantries and serving areas, assisting with vendor order deliveries, and adhering to sanitation and safety policies. As part of the department leadership, the role also includes training as a cook to provide support whenever needed.

Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!

Requirements:

24 hours per week - First Shift

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Every Other Weekend

High School Diploma Required

Serv-Safe Certification Preferred

Works around areas and equipment of abnormal temperatures. It requires extensive standing. Requires full range of body motion including but not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, hand and finger dexterity, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, etc. Some heavy lifting. This job requires that weight be lifted or force is exerted.
