Job description

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Repair & Maintenance to oversee the upkeep, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our nutraceutical manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, machinery, and building systems operate efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Location: Miramar, FL

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Supervise and coordinate repair and maintenance activities to minimize downtime
  • Oversee maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and company policies
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to address equipment performance issues
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Source and manage vendor relationships for maintenance services and equipment purchases
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, GMP, and industry regulations related to equipment and facility maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Train and develop maintenance personnel to enhance team performance

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment (nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food industry preferred)
  • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations for manufacturing facilities
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
