About Huisong

Huisong is a global supplier of botanical extracts, herbal raw materials, and functional ingredients used by manufacturers in the dietary supplement, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Our customers purchase ingredients in bulk for use in production and rely on us for consistent supply, quality documentation, and long-term partnerships.

With vertically integrated operations, global sourcing capabilities, and a strong focus on quality, we support customers through every stage of product development and commercialization. We are passionate about medicinal herbs, botanical ingredients, and helping our customers bring innovative products to market.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nutraceutical Account Manager to support and grow customer relationships across North America. This is a business-to-business ingredient sales role focused on bulk raw materials and ingredients. This position does not involve retail sales or direct-to-consumer finished products.

The ideal candidate has direct experience selling nutraceutical ingredients or other raw materials and understands how to work with manufacturers, contract manufacturers, purchasing teams, quality, regulatory, and R&D contacts. Candidates should also have working knowledge of medicinal herbs and botanical ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share for nutraceutical ingredients.
  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers, including supplement brands, manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and distributors.
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts to build long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored ingredient solutions.
  • Respond to RFQs, pricing requests, and product availability inquiries.
  • Coordinate and track samples, product evaluations, and customer feedback.
  • Provide product specifications, COAs, technical documentation, and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to support product positioning and customer requirements.
  • Support customers through vendor qualification, approval, and commercialization processes.
  • Conduct sales presentations, technical discussions, and product trainings with customers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to effectively close business.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and competitive activity.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and networking events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, customer notes, and CRM updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales, inside sales, or account management experience in nutraceutical ingredients, botanical extracts, food ingredients, pharmaceutical raw materials, specialty chemicals, or industrial supply.
  • Direct experience selling bulk raw materials or ingredients; experience limited to finished consumer products is not sufficient.
  • Strong knowledge of medicinal herbs, botanical extracts, dietary supplements, and ingredient applications.
  • Experience working with manufacturers, contract manufacturers, distributors, or industrial customers.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical documentation, including specifications, COAs, and quality documents.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and long sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and in the future; no visa sponsorship is available.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field a plus.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Familiarity working with Purchasing, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory stakeholders.
  • Existing network within the nutraceutical, food ingredient, or dietary supplement industry.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary plus commission.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • 401(k)
  • Opportunity for growth within a global company.
