Working Title: OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant
(Internship duration: June 1 - July 26, 2026)
Primary responsibilities of the OPSD-Duke PRIME PUMP Student Assistant areas follows:
§ Participate in a laboratory research project under the mentorship of Duke Faculty and lab team
§ Attend structured professional development and networking sessions in research methodology, and career development
§ Participate in clinical activities related to the faculty mentor's area of research
§ Collaborate with faculty, staff and medical students
§ Deliver a presentation about the research experience
Please note these additional requirements:
§ Available to start on campus June 1st
§ Commit to full-time (40 hours/week) research for a duration eight weeks
§ Provide names/contact information of two references
§ Required submission of Curriculum Vitae and Undergraduate transcript
§ Clinical shadowing vaccine requirements: TB, MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Flu
