Position at A-Tech Commercial Parts and Service Windsor, CT Commercial Kitchen Technicians Sign-On Bonus Up to $5,000 (for experienced techs) Competitive Pay Benefits Company Vehicle $25.00-$50.00+ based on experience Are you a seasoned commercial kitchen technician who knows how to keep things chill under pressure? A-Tech is on the lookout for experienced professionals who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems with precision and professionalism. From ice machines to walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units, if you've got the skills, we've got the opportunity.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
  • Troubleshooting and repairing commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
  • Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
  • Delivering outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
  • Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts
  • Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
  • Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
  • Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • A seasoned pro, with experience servicing commercial cooking equipment
  • Eager to learn and grow through hands-on, onsite training opportunities
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized work ethic
  • Completion of a successful background check and drug screen
