Green Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 184-bed skilled nursing center located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and we're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Assistant to join our team. As an Activity Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through engaging activities and promoting socialization.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute fun activities for residents, encouraging participation and socialization
  • Set up and clean up the activity room, ensuring a welcoming environment for our residents
  • Transport patients from their rooms to the activity location, promoting mobility and independence
  • Engage residents in daily activities, fostering a sense of community and connection
  • Assist in organizing outings and events, including transportation and accommodations for participants
  • Provide daily one-on-one visits with residents, delivering activities and companionship to those who need it most
  • Coordinate with guest speakers, entertainers, and musicians to bring a variety of events and experiences to our residents
  • Adhere to professional standards and follow facility policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
