Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the Nursing Department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Developing, implementing, and updating department policies and procedures as needed or directed.
• Assisting with staffing to ensure resident needs and regulatory requirements are met at all times.
• Participating in federal, state, and local agency annual surveys.
• Maintaining accuracy of patient records.
• Reporting and investigating incidents thoroughly and timely.
• Maintaining the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical needs of each patient.
• Assisting physicians during rounds.
• Providing guidance and training for aides.
• Demonstrating proficient nursing skills.
Qualifications:
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
• High school graduate/GED.
• Long-term care experience, good communication skills.
