Pediatric Specialty Care at Philadelphia is seeking a Full Time Director of Nursing.
Pediatric Specialty Care's new location is in the former home of The Medical College of Pennsylvania in the Falls Center development in the city's East Falls neighborhood. Our modern and welcoming space overlooks the skyline of Philadelphia. We are less than 5 miles from St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and less than 8 miles away from The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We offer free parking
The Director of Nursing is extremely important to the success of Pediatric Specialty Care as you would be providing direct support to the staff that serves our patients. This position creates relationships that span beyond clinical care with the families and the nurses in a patient's home. It is a responsibility and privilege to change the lives of these families and the effect of nursing care on their lives is truly immeasurable. These relationships are a vital aspect to the success of our agency, the Director of Nursing will establish and maintain compliance with state regulations for home health agencies as well as our own high standards for the level of care provided to our patients.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Supervising and reviewing the RN Case Management team
  • Managing patients' data and medical records
  • Field Staff Development
  • Creating and Maintaining relationships with physician's, patients and family members
  • Process development management pertaining to Nursing team
  • Other tasks, as assigned

Current Pennsylvania RN license
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of experience in related position
