Cardiology Hospitalist Physician Opening - Urbana, ILPosition Details

  • Seeking an additional BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiology Hospitalist to join our expanding Cardiology Division in Urbana, Illinois
  • 100% inpatient position
  • 7 on 7 off schedule with 8-hour shifts, 8AM – 5 PM
  • Shared call (~10 days/month)
  • Established team of 2 Cardiology Hospitalists with rounding support from an Advanced Practice Provider in addition to a Cardiology Fellow
  • Join our growing team of 18 Cardiologists
  • Comprehensive cardiac medical and surgical services in the subspecialties of heart failure, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and complex cardiac and vascular surgery
  • Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department work closely with the Cardiologists in all patient care activities
  • Cardiologists cover only one hospital
  • New state-of-the-art Heart Center
