ER - Registered Nurse (RN) - ER
Position Overview
As an RN in the Emergency Department, you provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for acutely ill or injured patients.
You coordinate with physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff to deliver timely, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform triage, initial assessment, and priority-based care in the ED.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team to implement treatment plans and perform procedures as appropriate.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Coordinate with ancillary services for imaging, labs, and specialty referrals.
Qualifications
Education:
Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Active RN license in the appropriate state.
Certifications:
  • BLS certification; ACLS typically required for ED staff
Experience or Skills:
Experience in emergency care, critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and teamwork.
Experience
