Job description

Radiology Registered Nurse

This position is a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology. Areas of responsibility include IR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Candidate will take a rotating call schedule every 4-5 weeks and able to be at the facility within 1 hour of callback.

Responsibilities:

  • Preoperative care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Intraoperative care including cardiac monitoring and administration of moderate sedation.
  • Postoperative care / recovery of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
  • Implements the plan of care.
  • Evaluates the plan of care.
  • Administers medications as prescribed.
  • Provides patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education.
  • Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
  • Communicates/collaborates with others in providing patient care.
  • Provides clinical leadership
  • Supports life long learning
  • Completes assigned goals
