Job description

RN Manager, Clinical Programs and Practice

Are you ready for the next step in your nursing career? Community Health of Central Washington has an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Director of Clinical Programing & Innovations (DCPI) to oversee the clinical training and competency evaluations of nurses and medical assistants and assist in clinical initiatives that support clinician-oriented, value-based care transitions across CHCW sites.

Position Highlights

You will work with the DCPI and in close collaboration with the Medical Assistant Training Coordinator (MATC) to:

  • Manage, inform, and implement projects that align strategic priorities related to value-based care transitions with clinical workflow standardization and optimization.
  • Serve as an organizational-wide nursing practice resource.
  • Establish, train and evaluate role-based competencies, skills checklists and recertification plans tied to program needs and quality/safety standards.
  • Maintains clinical nursing knowledge and competency and may provide direct patient care to support workflow testing, pilot new clinical initiatives, and create patient access specific to value-based care initiatives. 
  • Coordinates designated employee health functions with HR.
  • Oversees the nursing and medical assistant float pool. 

Qualifications

  • Graduation with BSN from an accredited nursing program is required
  • MSN preferred
  • WA RN license is required
  • BLS is required
  • Experience as an RN in a clinical, ambulatory care setting is preferred
  • Experience using EMR (preferably EPIC) to support clinical workflows, documentation reporting, and quality improvement
  • Experience in nursing leadership, training, and/or education is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required
  • Fall Prevention Certification is preferred or willingness to obtain

Compensation and Benefits

$48.13-$61.27 hourly

$1.00 bilingual differential (must pass ALTA)
